Medical Record Audits

Each year, SummaCare audits medical records from primary care practices within our network. The audits are performed to promote continuity and quality of care for our members.

Some of the standards addressed in the medical record audit include documentation of allergies, a current medication list, a thorough and accurate medical history, lab and test results and preventive services.
