SummaCare recently received a Silver Award in the 18th annual National Mature Media Awards Program. The program, presented by the Mature Market Resource Center, recognizes the nation’s best advertising, marketing and educational materials designed and produced for older adults.
The Akron-based insurance company was recognized in the Brochure/Booklet (Publications) category in the Insurance division for its SummaCare Secure 2009 Enrollment Guide. The guide was designed and produced by the SummaCare marketing department and Knox Marketing.
“We take great pride in producing materials that provide necessary information to our members in an easy to understand format,” said Anne Armao, SummaCare vice president of marketing and product development. “On behalf of everyone at SummaCare and Knox Marketing, I want to thank Mature Market Resource Center for this outstanding award.”
Awards were presented in 32 categories including marketing communications, publications, educational/training programs and editorial and art design. Entries included brochures, newsletters, magazine and newspaper articles, radio and television programs and advertising.
Approximately 900 entries were judged by a panel of mature market experts from across the United States for overall excellence of design, content, creativity and relevance to the senior market.
