Partner with the Community. Since 1996, the northeast Ohio community has embraced SummaCare and helped our Company grow so that we can continue to provide a local health insurance option. In 2021, SummaCare looked for ways to both honor our core commitment of partnering with the community, while inspiring and supporting local small businesses to become thriving contributors to northeast Ohio.
What began as a mentorship project about offering improved and refocused marketing efforts and training, has now evolved into Lift Up Local—an annual community enrichment program helping small, northeast Ohio businesses succeed.
Each year, as part of SummaCare’s annual commitment to Lift Up Local, the SummaCare team and their partners will take another small business under their wing, mentoring them on the value of enhanced marketing and communication efforts.
