SummaCare’s focus is always on you, your family and business. We are known for superior customer service, but we are proud to distinguish ourselves by also providing an outstanding member experience. We put members first because our mission is to truly help members become their happiest and healthiest versions of themselves.

Our goal is to consistently exceed members’ expectations so they can expect a great member experience with every interaction they have with us.

It’s one thing to say we’re exceeding expectations, but quite another to work tirelessly to put it into practice—and we’re proud of the results:

  • SummaCare’s Medicare Retention Rate last year was 97 percent, compared to the national average of 88 percent.
  • 60 percent of members contacted Member Services in the past year and rated the experience overwhelmingly positive. In fact, 99 percent said the representative was “courteous and friendly” and 97 percent said the representative was “knowledgeable and helpful.”

For 30 years, we’ve provided our neighbors and friends with the personal attention and coordinated care they need. We get to know our members and their lifestyle so we can fit our plans to their needs and budgets.

When you choose SummaCare, here’s what you can expect:

  • We are caring. We give you the personal attention you deserve because you are our family, friends and neighbors.
  • We are authentic. We develop genuine, trustworthy relationships to ensure you have the best experience with us. We personalize your experience. We strive to be empathetic, empowering, educational, hassle-free, accurate, consistent and timely.
  • We are dedicated. We have 30 years invested in the community. We were originally created as a product offering for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and have continued offering health insurance products to meet the needs of area residents and businesses. We are a trusted resource in the community to provide insight, guidance and leadership.
  • We are collaborative. We partner with your doctors and other healthcare professionals to coordinate your care and manage your health. We realize there are multiple factors that add up to good health, and all of them must fit together. We work with others to achieve a common goal.

When you enroll, our promise is to personalize your SummaCare experience, develop a genuine trustworthy relationship and give you the personal attention you deserve.
