Who can sell SummaCare products?

Brokers must have a valid Ohio Health Insurance license and be appointed by the Ohio Department of Insurance to sell SummaCare products.

How can brokers become appointed with SummaCare?

Brokers can initiate the appointments process by completing the form located here.

Does SummaCare require annual appointments for brokers?

For our Medicare Advantage and Individual and Family products, we required agents to complete annual re-certification and submit training certification. 

What kind of product training does SummaCare provide?

Our Broker Services team can provide either in-person or virtual training on all SummaCare products and broker tools including our secure broker portal, Broker Central.

Does SummaCare provide brokers with marketing materials?

Yes, we provide brokers marketing materials through our Broker Marketing Store.  In addition, some materials may be customized with broker logo and/or contact information.
