SummaCare Medicare Cafés are Open for Prospective Enrollees
New cafés offered in Green and Akron
AKRON, Ohio, October 11, 2019 – SummaCare announced today its new SummaCare Medicare Cafés for individuals who want to learn more about Medicare options are opening in Green and at SummaCare’s East End offices in Akron.
The cafés are designed as meeting places where Medicare-eligible individuals can visit one-on-one with a SummaCare Medicare Advisor while enjoying complimentary refreshments. Locations and times for the two cafés are:
- The SummaCare Medicare Café at Summa Health/Green Family YMCA, 3838 Massillon Road, Uniontown, is open every Monday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., beginning Friday, October 11, and concluding Friday, December 6. Special events, such as health talks, are also planned for the Friday sessions in Green. Visit www.summacare.com/café to register for the health talks.
- The SummaCare Medicare Café, located at the East End (former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company headquarters), 1200 East Market Street, Suite 400, Akron, will be open for visitors Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the main lobby of the SummaCare headquarters. SummaCare Medicare Advisors will be available to answer questions about Medicare options and assist people in selecting a plan for 2020.
