Important: Double Check Your Network Participation & Directory Listing

Even though you are a SummaCare contracted provider, your practice may not participate in every network. Please check your contract to confirm network participation and confirm each physician’s participation by using our online provider directory.

Your patient’s network and/or benefits may change from year to year. In order to avoid payment delay and ensure coverage, we encourage you to: 

  • Request the most current ID card for each patient/member
  • Confirm your participation in each member’s network
  • Verify eligibility and benefits by signing into Plan Central

SummaCare is proud of the quality network providers we offer to our membership and we invest a considerable amount of time to credential and maintain the data that goes into our printed and online directories. We appreciate your responses to our quarterly outreach to double check your directory listing. Yes, it is important to respond even if all the information is correct. It helps us know we have it right!

With the increasing importance CMS and other regulatory entities are placing upon the accuracy of provider directory information, we ask that you review our online provider directory and let us know at if you identify any information about your listing that is incorrect. We want our members to find you and be able to contact you when they need you. Taking a few minutes to check our website now will assure that our members can make that connection.
